music:
I've always loved music. Always been in choirs in primary school. One Christmas I discovered Bon Jovi, and then a dream was formed, as I stood in the mirror strumming a tennis racquet belting out my favorite songs. Fast forward a couple years to high school, I had taken music every year, and I was able to learn the basics of guitar. It wasn't to late 2013 I wrote my first song "What We Got" (First song on "Time to Show Em") which is quite different now, compared to how I wrote it back then. Through 2015-2017 I was writing music for an album I wanted to make but I wanted a name that would work as a band name. So I come up with "The Names Rock" and ended up releasing the album "Time to Show 'Em" under that name. 2018 I've started writing new material, and re-branded, myself as Dean French and hoping to release an album late 2018/early 2019.

photography:
Up until mid 2017, I only used auto settings for taking photos. But then I sold my old 92 Lancer and as soon as I got the money, I went and bought a Canon 1300D to learn how to take photos and then on wards, my love for photography was born. After a couple of months playing with exposures, them aperture thingys. I finally learn't how they work and I am now pretty confident behind a camera. Early 2016 I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to do photography for a wedding before I knew anything about cameras. The photos weren't the best quality, because of my inexperience's behind a camera (Canon SX40 HS). The clients were more than happy with the result. That boosted my confidence enough to want to get a proper camera.
